Tim Etchells brings a multi-channel video installation to the jumbo screens across Times Square. Equal parts poem and performative sculpture, Eyes Looking uses text to draw attention to the people passing through Times Square and echo those who have visited in the past. It highlights the small actions and human details that bring us together in a city.
Free and open to the public
Co-presented with Times Square Arts and Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC)
“I create moments of thoughtfulness and playful encounter in public places; the work tries to draw each person into a space of intimate reflection.”
