Annie Dorsen

Since 2009, American writer and director Annie Dorsen has used algorithms in performances to question how we live with and make meaning from technology. She is the recipient of a 2017 Foundation for Contemporary Arts Grant to Artists Award, the 2014 Herb Alpert Award in the Arts for Theater, and a 2008 Obie award. Dorsen’s work, Spokaoke, was presented in Crossing the Line Festival 2013.
